Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Clevix Studio ("Clevix Studio", "we", "us") is an AI website builder. You use it to design, edit and publish websites and landing pages. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use clevixstudio.com, the builder app and the sites published with it, and what we do with it.

2. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Team data: the teams you create or join, their members and their roles.
• Billing data: your plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your content: projects, pages, code, images and files you upload, CMS records, and version history.
• AI conversations: the prompts you send to the AI assistant, the files it reads, and what it produces.
• Usage and technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and logs of requests and errors. We use these to run, secure and fix the service.

3. Visitors to sites published with Clevix Studio

When someone visits a site published with Clevix Studio, we process some data on behalf of the site's owner:

• Page views: the page, the referring site, the country and the device type. We do not store the visitor's IP address for page views.
• Form submissions: what the visitor types into a form, stored encrypted and delivered to the site owner (for example by email or to a connected service).
• Site accounts: if a site lets visitors sign up, their email address, a hashed password and their profile fields.

For this data the site owner decides what is collected and why, and is responsible for telling their visitors. Questions about a site should go to its owner first.

4. How we use your data

• To provide the service: build, store, publish and host your sites.
• To run AI features on your request.
• To bill you for paid plans and AI credits.
• To send service emails: email checks, password resets, team invites and form notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
• To keep the service secure and stop abuse, spam and fraud.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:

• Cloudflare: hosting of published sites, file storage and network security.
• Stripe: payments.
• Amazon Web Services: sending email.
• Google: sign in with Google.
• AI model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and fal.ai): your prompts and the content needed to answer them.
• Cloud server providers that run our servers and databases.

We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies. Sites published with Clevix Studio may use a cookie to keep their visitors signed in.

7. How long we keep data

• Account and team data: while your account is open.
• Projects you delete: removed from the trash and then deleted.
• CMS data: deleted 30 days after the CMS is turned off, and at once when the team is deleted.
• Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Server logs: a short time, for security and fixing faults.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, and secrets and form submissions are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can object to some uses of it. You can delete projects and leave teams in the app. For anything else, email us at support@clevixstudio.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Clevix Studio is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date above, and tell you by email or in the app before an important change takes effect.
